    What a summer it’s been at Red Rocks Golf Club! From the Blitz Golf Tournament to birthdays, bucks parties, and even hole-in-ones with a $10,000 cash prize, it’s been a summer to remember. Our beautifully cored greens and growing community of new members have made the summer even more special. The ground staff have worked very hard this summer, with consistent feedback from members and guests stating that the course is in excellent condition — some even saying it’s the best it’s ever been. Shoutout to all of the legends over at Rock Solid and K&L Landscaping. Winter blues arrived? Stored the golf clubs away already? Come join the team at Red Rocks this winter for trivia by the fire in our clubhouse with warm nibbles, prizes and good company.

    *RED ROCKS 2026 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS*
    Saturday saw us play the final round of the club championships which was keenly contested by those that had entered, we did have a couple of withdrawals due to illness on the final day but regardless all eyes were on the premier group of Ray Pobjoy, Sean O’Brien, Sam Elliot and Al Smith.
    These four had carded the best gross rounds during the previous 2 weeks so we were all excited to see how the match up would play on the final day? It would seem that the pressure got to all 4 players with some unusually high scores recorded by them all, in the end Ray ground it out to once again take the title for best gross.


    The Best Nett was a different story with the title going to Bernie Cashman who after the first round was unsure if he would be available for all 3 rounds due to family commitments, he did however manage to clear his busy schedule to make time for the prestigious event, carding 3 rounds of 58/52/56 - 166 nett to win the trophy from Ray on a count back.

    We have 2 more Board Events yet to be played later in the year, "THE TERRY FOX 4BBB CHAMPIONSHIP" & "THE MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP”. So keep your eyes on our weekly updates for when these will be played.
    The other mayor event scheduled for the end of the year will be the Medalist of Medalists this will be played off in December but in the meantime you will have to win a monthly medal to qualify.

    The next monthly medal will be played on 16/05/26 so make sure to add it to your calendar.

    Here at Red Rocks, we have two courses. The Saltwater Creek - 9 hole championship Par 3 course. Designed by the legend of Santa Anna Couch, Ross Watson. Longest hole - Hole 6, 183m. Pitch and Putt - 9 hole Par 3 course. All you need is a couple of clubs! Longest hole - Hole 9, 54m.
